So Long, KadayanUniverse.Com - Part 1

Started from today 09 December 2010, I am no longer maintaining the following domain names:

kadayanuniverse.com (2005 - 2010)
kedayan.org (2005 - 2009)
arimi.ath.cx (2005 - 2009)
sabahlinux.hopto.org (2006 - 2009)
sufiway.ath.cx (2006 - 2009)

All the above domain names are toward to the end of their shelf life, some has been expired by now. Perhaps the last will be the kadayan universe domain name, as you can see on the above screenshot.

For most of you that never come to know about, kadayanuniverse.com is a successor of Kedayan Online (KoL) (2000 - 2002). This is the way I see it when I came up with the idea of setting up a complete a Borneo ethnic-based portal five years ago. It was meant to replace a free web site hosted on now defunct geocities.com. It was on pre-blogging era, and updating a pure html website on regular process wasn't as easy as it is now.

But regardless of being hosted as www.geocities.com/kenshiroe or as kadayanuniverse.com, I spent tremendous amount of time in maintaining them, especially kadayanuniverse.com. This site is special and always stay above the rest. Its online existence reached the peak sometime in 2008 when, at that time, it attracts daily traffic at 10,000 hits more or less.

Some articles were quoted in various websites, including malaysia-today.net. A certain site was also picking up every update available on kadayan universe via rss aggregator.

But after 5 years, I think it is best to just let go. I mean all of them, except this blog, kadayanuniverse.blogspot.com which is also accessible via arimi.co.cc .

Nevertheless, almost all of kadayanuniverse.com archives can still be found at kadayanuniverse.blogspot.com but regretfully there will be no more update from there on.

I believe that no efforts were wasted in service. Over to you, people, from now on.
